Bowling

I went bowling with some pals. These are some better photos of the crew I roll with each week. Above is team 1. Below is team A.
Team 1 members: Noah, Chelsea, Vogan
Team A members: Laura, Rob Himself, Bud

Typically Laura and Bud don't come for the weekly bowl. I invited Laura tonight because I wanted to bowl, yet I also wanted to hang out with her. I murdered two birds with one stone this evening. It was wonderful. She pulled out the come from behind win for Team A in the final frame. It was all up to her... she stepped up on the floor, shaking, put her nerves on ice and threw the ball straight down the lane FTW!

Team A never had the high score, but won both games played this evening. TEAM A FOR LIFE.

Job search

I am looking for a job in SLC. I would prefer to have tuition reimbursement, but it is not required. We will play a game, anyone that reads this is invited to play, but is not limited only to people that read this post. I would like to have job suggestions. The winner will get a prize from me.

My love

I was looking through some old photos that I have on my computer, and thought I would make a post about Kylie, my ol' girlfriend. Kylie is beautiful to me, and although dating her didn't work out forever, I am pleased to say that we are still great friends. I recently went to her home to visit her for the first time since July, and I do say, it was a good time. We have been talking more than usual and I am happy with that. Kylie is certainly one of my best friends, and will be forever as far as I am concerned. I hear songs that remind me of her on almost every day. I do not regret dating her. She feels like family to me in a way, I love her and would help her out anytime I could. I think that sometimes her shyness is taken the wrong way, like she doesn't like you or something, but she is just a bit shy. I liked that. I know that she is kind in her heart and is always willing to help her friends out. I know that if I need anything I could just ask her to help and she would. I hope she still thinks that she could rely on me for help if she needs it.

I loved being around her and her family. They are wonderful. They were always so kind to me. I am very thankful that I could know them too. They were even able to put up with all of my annoying jokes, and my personality that probably gets to be too much after 30 plus hours in a car together. We have some good photos from the cruise that her grandparents were kind enough to invite me to go on, and I know I had fun. I always had fun with her and her family, and I know that she had fun at the family fiesta parties. Viva Thorley family fiesta banner!

First of many

Well, as some of you know I have been bowling quite frequently lately, about twice a week actually.I have learned that it is really fun just to hang out with friends, but bowling amplifies the fun.I have invested a lot of time, and I am dedicated enough that I bought some shoes, velcro shoes, and I purchased a bowling ball from Logan. The ball is named Travis, keep in mind that I did not name it. Although I love bowling, there is a guy that works there that is really irritating to all of the crew that we go with. I will not bore with my venting about it, but if you would like to call and complain about the worker at the alley on December 4th it would be helpful. I have digressed. I love bowling, and will keep all you faithful readers updated on my progression. I will include more in depth photos when I have a group photo, and more individuals that I like.

I have been learning how to do statistics this semester in school, and will be starting an ongoing analysis of my bowling scores. I want you to all know that you can expect box plots, pie charts, bar graphs, and possibly a scatter plot or a histogram. I think that a hazaa is in order for statistics. Hazaa!
This is the "Chelsea Slide", naturally Chelsea's signature move.

This is Noah. Signature move: The Badger Bite.

This is technically Logan, but he is known in our network of friends as Vogan. Signature move: Piranha Chomp

Do I need a monocle?

I was out for an evening stroll, looking for something to deactivate my sweet tooth. I was wondering up and down all the streets of the city when I realized that looking around on the ground for a treat was probably not the best way to find what I want, because up to this point I was only able to find gum. So, after a little cost/benefit ratio analysis I decided that it was in my best interest to save time and energy and just drive to the supermarket. Upon arrival I found a plethora of goods that would satisfy my craving. I was walking down the aisle when I looked up and saw a sign that I was uncertain of.

I began to wonder what "fancy candy" is. What does it mean? Do I have to be "fancy" to eat it? Does it come with gold plated wrapping? It reminded me of an episode of Seinfeld where the people that I think would be considered "fancy" were eating bars of candy with a knife and fork.
I didn't feel I was fancy, so I just bought some jerky.

Easy Burn

I am not even going to say anything about this. Whoever can do the best burn according to me will receive a special surprise. Go!

Special Moves

I was thinking about fighting a great deal last weekend. I have been told that I have a high tollerence for pain. I think I agree with this, however, I have to say that I am quite terrified of pain. I will do quite a bit to avoid serious pain, correct me if I am wrong. I have digressed from the point of this post.

I was thinking about places that are unusual to aim when throwing a fist around. I have a few ideas where I would not enjoy a blow to land.

I would not like to be punched on the top of my foot. I would not like to be punched on my spine. I would not like my tongue to be punched. I don't think I would like to be punched in the ear. I don't want to get punched on the femur. I would not like to get an uppercut to the armpit. I don't want to wear underpants over my shorts as I fight.

I could not find a photo of someone getting punched in the pit, but I did find someone that was about to punch someone in the armpit, probably. I also found a question that I found quite curious. After reading this question, the armpit punch will be my signature move.
